The Hisense 43E6KTUK 43 Inch 4K Smart TV is not really a great choice for gaming but more of a decent one. We still included this in our list despite having an awful input lag of 50 ms because of its price.

For a 4K Smart TV that offers a 60 Hz refresh rate and a VA IPS Type display panel, you can buy this TV for under £500. Although, if you can stretch your budget a little bit more, we highly recommend getting the LG 43UJ630V instead of this TV if one of your main purpose is gaming.

Pros

  • Above satisfactiory image quality
  • IPS-VA Panel
  • Affordable for 4K TV

Cons

  • Poor performance, 50 ms input lag
  • VA type of IPS
  • Poor audio quality

Final Thoughts

When looking for an affordable 4K Smart TV that can provide a decent performance for gaming, you should always look at the TV’s specs and not be a brand lover. Consumers must understand that they need to value more for their money.

The best example of that is going cheap or really limiting your budget for a TV. I mean, for just a few additional fee, you can get a TV that really provides more and offers great value for your money further.

Overall, the most important thing when looking for a gaming TV is the TV’s actual input lag, the lower the better and that goes the same for the response time. Another one is the refresh rate, the higher the better. Lastly, always make sure to buy a TV with at least an IPS display panel for that 16.8 million colour rich display.
